Thirty-four seats, one hearth, and a menu written at the market that morning. We cook what the season hands us — slowly, over oak, until it tastes like more of itself.

The cook

Elena Vasquez left the tweezers behind.

After nine years in kitchens where dinner arrived under glass domes, Elena wanted a restaurant the size of a dinner party and a menu short enough to say out loud. Marrow opened in 2019 with one hearth, one walk-in, and a produce bill from four farms within an hour of the door.

The cooking is patient and mostly fire. Whole animals, bought from people she texts with. Vegetables treated like the main event. Bread every afternoon at four.

"I want you to leave smelling faintly of woodsmoke. That's the whole concept."
Private dining

The back room seats twelve, and the fire stays lit late.

Birthdays, deal closings, the good kind of goodbye party. One long oak table, a menu written for your night, and the room to yourselves. Tell us the occasion and we'll plan the rest.
